Today we're launching charts.defihub.space—a dedicated analytics platform for tracking DeFi protocol metrics and cryptocurrency market data in real-time.

Why a Separate Charts Platform?

As defihub.space focuses on delivering fast, minimal content experiences, we recognized that comprehensive data visualization requires different architectural choices. Rather than compromise the main site's performance with heavy charting libraries and real-time data fetching, we built a purpose-designed subdomain optimized for analytics.

This reflects a broader modular design philosophy inspired by Web3 principles: build specialized, independent modules that excel at specific functions rather than creating monolithic applications that try to do everything.

Technical Architecture

The charts platform is built with a modular card system:

Data Sources & Accuracy

Chart data is sourced from:

Llama.fi: DeFi protocol TVL data, DEX metrics, and protocol listings
CoinGecko: Cryptocurrency market data, prices, and market capitalizations

Charts update in real-time from these public APIs. Data represents aggregated metrics and may have minor timing differences between updates.
