Why This Is Launching Now
As we expand into modular tools, web3 integrations, and community-led features, sustaining high-quality curation and development requires new forms of alignment.
Our mission has always been clarity, context, and long-term signal in DeFi and Web3 as a living system. This gating model is designed to support research-intensive work without creating a broad paywall — introducing a lightweight commitment for access to premium sections while preserving open-access core content.
Current Access Model (Test Phase)
For this brief testing period, users can unlock gated sections by connecting a wallet on Ethereum Sepolia that holds at least 100 DUTIL (verified client-side).
This temporary threshold helps us validate the end-to-end gating flow, wallet UX, and content access reliability before mainnet go-live.
Why Sepolia First
Running this on Sepolia first lets us test safely in production conditions while minimizing risk for users. It also gives us space to gather feedback and tune requirements before final launch.
During this phase, users who need DUTIL for access can use the buy flow on app.defihub.space and then re-run verification on the gated article.

Planned Mainnet Path
After testing is complete, we will finalize the mainnet rollout details, including requirements and any broader token utility paths.
Potential expansions still include tiered perks, staking-linked benefits, and crowdfunding-style participation tied to ecosystem growth.
